Driveways
Some lovely examples of driveways from Chinnor, High Wycombe and Watlington showing the difference between having a drive created from block paving or 20mm Oxfordshire gravel.
Brickwork
In Chalgrove, this brickwork was used to edge the sandstone patio, create raised planter beds and also for the cedar slatted fencing to attach to. Brick lights were used on the internal sides to allow longer use in the evenings.

In these pictures you can see a brick and flint wall that was rebuilt after damage in Kingston Blount, Oxon. The flint was sourced locally to ensure it was in keeping with Chiltern Hill’s chalk flint.
This brickwork was created to provide privacy and a backdrop to a hot tub in Watlington, Oxon. Underneath the soldier course are two layers of creasing tiles to keep the rain from running down the wall.
Decking
The existing concrete slabs at this property in Henley were at different heights and had come loose, so we constructed a single level decked area which met all the door thresholds and also led straight onto the lawn.
We constructed a raised decking area to meet the high threshold of the back door in this Marlow garden. It provided the only level area for the customers to entertain.
This is another example of non-slip decking being used near a swimming pool, that also broke up what would have been a large area of paving.
An example of a raised decked entertaining area required to meet the threshold height of the French windows in Bledlow Ridge, Buckinghamshire. Softwood sleepers were used to edge the bed.
Surrounding this hot tub with ‘Walksure’ decking was a great way to prevent slip ups with wet feet, and the charcoal and red choice ties in with the wall as well. It is a great way to smarten up the area and also to stop muddy patches and feet! These photos are from a job in Watlington, Oxfordshire.
Raised Beds
We can design and create a raised bed garden to any specification from softwood or hardwood, pine or oak. Gravel paths stop the area from getting muddy and provide a modern look; especially when using Oxfordshire Stone such as this example from near Postcombe, Oxon.
The sleepers can smarten a standard flower bed seen in this photo from High Wycombe, Bucks on their front driveway.
Tree Houses
These photos show standard 1 and 2 platform handmade tree houses near Stokenchurch and Bledlow Ridge, Buckinghamshire, made from treated timber and decking boards. There are plenty of styles that we can create according to budget with different levels, various types of entrances/exits and anything else to keep your children amused for hours on end.
